About me
I cover anime-style AI companions and the big community character platforms for GirlfriendsAI. I grew up on anime and still watch more of it than I should, so I notice quickly when an app's anime mode is a filter laid over a realistic face.
I look at art style consistency, how well characters keep their voice, and how each platform handles its own age rules, because in this niche that is where many apps get it wrong. Every character I write about is an adult, and I say so in the article.
How I test
- Start from the desk's review data: image lock, hands, chat scores and plan limits measured on paid accounts.
- Go through each platform's style options, character tags and library as they are on the day I write, and date those observations.
- Read the platform's content and age rules and compare them with what the library actually shows.
- Mark clearly what was not tested in a given style, and list what to check in your own first session.
