A femboy character is a specific ask. He dresses and carries himself in a feminine way, he is a man, he uses he/him (or whatever pronouns his creator set), and he is an adult. The test for any chat app is whether he is still all of those things fifty messages in, and whether the pictures agree with the text.
I wanted to know whether SpicyChat gets there. I have not run logged sessions with femboy bots for this piece, and I'm not going to pretend I did. What I did do: I worked through the Femboy tag and the tags around it, SpicyChat's own documentation, its community guidelines and its September 2026 prices, then set that against what our full reviews measured on apps that let you build a character yourself. Where something can only be confirmed in a live chat, I say so and tell you what to look for.
Everything here is 18+. Every character discussed is an adult, and SpicyChat's rules require the same.
Best apps for femboy AI chat in 2026
Joi comes first because it lets you set his look and personality yourself. Scores come from our full reviews; AI Gay and Trans AI have no review here, so they carry no score.

1. Joi AI Best overall
Building him yourself, slider by slider
Joi has the deepest builder our reviews document: full appearance customization, twelve personality sliders and six chat styles you can switch mid-conversation. For a femboy that counts for more than a big library, because you decide how feminine his style is and how he talks instead of hoping a stranger's bot got it right. The free account lets you build one character. The catch is price: Premium ($9.99) clips replies at roughly 115 characters, Pro ($17.77) removes the cap, and images cost coins on top.
- Free tier 30 msgs/day, one build slot
- Uncapped chat Pro $17.77/mo
- Recall test 14/20

2. Candy AI Most consistent images
Keeping his face the same, picture after picture
Candy fixes SpicyChat's biggest femboy problem. In our boyfriend testing, a male character's face stayed recognizably his across 100+ generations, down to a scar added in the builder, and the full review measured 18/20 on recall, so his pronouns and backstory have a better chance of sticking. The builder takes a free-text description and backstory, which is where his presentation goes. NSFW text is on Premium at $12.99 ($6.99 a month annually); NSFW images need Plus at $22.99.
- Premium $12.99/mo, $6.99 annual
- NSFW images Plus $22.99
- Recall test 18/20

3. OurDream AI Deepest face controls
Designing a soft, androgynous face
OurDream's seven-screen builder has the controls a femboy's face needs: face shape, jaw, nose, lips, eye shape and eyebrows, body presets with separate sliders, and 15+ style aesthetics. In the review, a freckle detail set in the builder carried across all 217 images generated. Premium at $9.99 covers the builder, NSFW and short video clips. It is web only, and its voice scored worst in our 2026 sweep.
- Premium $9.99/mo, $5.49 annual
- Images ~150/mo on Premium
- Apps Web only

4. Nectar AI Best memory control
Fixing his details when the model slips
Nectar scored 43/50 on our 200-message coherence script and 19/20 on recall, the best chat numbers on this list. The feature that matters here is the memory inspector: a panel listing every fact the model has stored about you, each one editable. If you play the femboy and it logs you as "she", you fix the row. Our reviews document no builder controls worth comparing, and the free tier is SFW only for roughly 20 to 30 messages.
- Premium $9.99/mo, ~80 images
- Free tier SFW only
- Recall test 19/20

5. Lovescape Widest look range
Body types and style aesthetics at a flat price
Lovescape's builder spans four body types, 14 style aesthetics that change the images and five voice tones, and its age presets are all bracketed 18+, a useful guardrail for a character type that often gets drawn young. Character lock held in 41 of 47 images in the review. Premium is a flat $9.99 with NSFW and no coins. Persona controls are thin in what we documented, and the privacy policy is vague on retention.
- Premium $9.99/mo, ~$5.99 annual
- Free tier ~30 SFW msgs/day
- Coherence 39/50

6. AI Gay Adult male roster
A ready-made soft-boy character, no setup
AI Gay is a browser-based 18+ chat with 15 preset characters, all adult men written for gay users. The closest fit is Noah, 23, listed as a soft boy: slim, in cozy sweaters, poetic and a little introverted. He isn't written as a femboy, and there's no builder, so his look is fixed and you steer pronouns and presentation in the chat. Three messages are free, then Premium adds unlimited chat, memory and photos. No voice and no mobile app.
- Platforms Browser only
- Roster 15 adult men, no builder
- Free preview 3 messages

7. Trans AI For trans and non-binary builds
Characters who sit closer to trans or non-binary
If your character is closer to trans or non-binary than to a feminine-presenting cis guy, Trans AI is the nearer fit. Its roster is trans women, aimed at people attracted to them, so a male-identified femboy isn't on it. What it does offer is custom companion requests: you describe the character and the site's team builds it for your account. It also generates images inside the chat, says it remembers you across sessions, and runs full NSFW behind an 18+ gate.
- Custom characters On request
- Platforms Browser only
- Voice None
What SpicyChat actually offers for femboy characters
The Femboy tag and its neighbors
SpicyChat has a dedicated Femboy tag. It is listed in the site's tag sitemap, which I checked on October 28, 2026, next to several tags that overlap with it: Crossdressing, Trans, Non-Binary, Tomboy, Male, MLM and LGBTQ+. There is no Androgynous tag. There is also no "trap" tag, which is good, since most of the people who use the word femboy treat that one as a slur.
I can't give you a reliable count of bots under the tag. The tag pages render in the browser, the number changes daily, and third-party claims about the library's size are unverifiable. Open the tag and look at the count yourself.
Tags are chosen by creators. Public bots need at least two and can carry up to twelve, and SpicyChat says misleading tags can get a bot unpublished. So a bot tagged Femboy might be a crossdresser, a trans woman or a female character tagged for traffic. The tag narrows the search; it doesn't define the character.
How to filter the tag
SpicyChat's docs describe the controls, and they are simple once you know where they are:
- Enable "Display chatbots with explicit images or languages (NSFW)" in your profile first. The NSFW switch in the library only works after that.
- Add Femboy from the "Narrow by tag" menu.
- Press the "-" button on any tag you want out. If you want male-bodied characters only, I would start by excluding Futanari and Female, and add Low Quality to the exclusions, since SpicyChat ships that tag itself. Check in the app that the exclusions do what you expect, because creators tag inconsistently.
- Sort by most popular to see bots that have held up through a lot of chats, or by latest to see new ones nobody has picked through yet. Search keeps your active filters.
The docs mention no gender filter, so tags are the only lever. One more thing to know: the NSFW or SFW label on a bot is assigned automatically, and SpicyChat's FAQ says an SFW-labelled bot can still do NSFW roleplay. The label describes the bot's card. It doesn't limit where the chat goes.
What to check in your first session with a femboy bot
This is where a review would normally quote a chat log. I don't have one I ran myself, so I won't invent one. Instead, here is what I'd watch in the first twenty or so messages. That is roughly what the free tier's 4,096-token context holds, by one third-party estimate, and the problems that matter for this character type tend to show up inside that window if they show up at all.
Presentation drift
The usual way a femboy character breaks in a language model is that he slowly turns into a girl. The model sees a skirt, makeup and a soft voice, and its training pulls the narration toward a woman. Watch for it in the narration ("she smooths her skirt"), in how he refers to himself, and in how he describes his own body in explicit scenes. One slip he fixes after you point it out is normal. If he drifts back after the correction, the definition is weak; try another bot.
Pronouns and identity
Some femboy characters use he/him, some use they/them, and a few are written as figuring it out. Any of those works if the bot picks one and keeps it. Read the creator's definition if it's visible (creators can hide it) and read the greeting. If the greeting doesn't state his pronouns or describe his look, the bot is leaving that to the model, and the model will usually guess female.
Thin bots
A lot of user-made bots are a picture, a name and a greeting with very little behind them. SpicyChat recommends 900 to 1,100 tokens for a character definition. A femboy bot that sounds generic by his third reply probably has a fraction of that.
Memory
On the free tier, early details fall out of the context quickly, and third-party reviews report memory slips in long threads on paid tiers too. If his look and pronouns matter to you, they have to live in the definition, a persona or a lorebook entry. The same 4,096-token window is behind most of the drift described in the desk's SpicyChat gay roleplay post.
My first-session checklist. Confirm the bot states an adult age. Check that the greeting sets his pronouns and look. After ten messages, ask him to describe himself and what he's wearing. Correct one slip and see whether the correction holds for the next ten. If anything about the bot reads as a minor, stop and report it.
The image problem: why he sometimes comes back as a woman
SpicyChat's documentation is unusually frank here. Its conversation images page says the model "has a bias toward generating images of caucasian females due to the way it was trained" and that "in some cases, it may turn a man into a woman, or not respect skin color." A femboy's look already sits close to the feminine side, so for him that's the most likely failure.
Two more details from the same page. Images are built from a single reference picture, so a bot whose avatar is shot at a poor angle or in odd colors will drift further. And the style settings (Anime or Semi-Realistic, plus an NSFW Mode toggle) are global, not per character.
Access depends on tier. True Supporter ($19.95 a month) gets conversation images only on characters that show the images icon. I'm All In ($29.95) gets them on any bot, including your own. Free and Get A Taste accounts get none.
What helps: SpicyChat says defining a character as male or female "will help maintain consistency in images when it comes to gender", so state it plainly in the definition. Use a clear, front-facing avatar that reads as an adult man, and spell out the male body details you want kept. None of that is a lock. It fits what our desk found testing AI boyfriend apps for the male persona: image models have seen far fewer men in romantic settings, so male faces drift sooner. If consistent pictures are the point for you, Candy is the app our test data supports.
Age rules: what gets femboy bots flagged or removed
SpicyChat's community guidelines are clear on the basics. "All Chatbots created on the platform must be portrayed as adults over 18 years old", and if the age isn't evident, the creator should state it in the Personality field. Aging up a character from a canonical age is allowed only if the character is explicitly over 18 and their visual representation is consistent with the stated age. The clause that matters most here: "Bots with youthful or childlike demeanors will be scrutinized and evaluated individually, even if they are listed as 18 or older."
Femboy bots run into that clause more than most. The archetype is often drawn slim, soft and youthful in styling, which is exactly the profile the rule is written to catch, so these bots get reviewed more and removed more. I think that trade is right. A femboy character is an adult man with a feminine style. A bot built on school settings, childlike speech or a body described as a child's is not one, whatever age the profile claims.
Creators report the enforcement is rough around the edges. Third-party write-ups describe an automated word scanner that has read descriptors like "small" as a sign of a minor, bots removed without a stated reason, and a five-business-day window to dispute. I can't confirm them, but I'd plan around them. SpicyChat's FAQ says to open a ticket on its Discord if you think a bot was deleted by mistake.
My own rule for this article, and the one I'd suggest: chat only with bots that state an adult age, skip anything that reads as a minor, and report it.
Separately, SpicyChat requires age verification through third-party partners (usually a video selfie, with an ID check as fallback) in the UK, France, Italy, Australia and 26 US states. Without it, NSFW content stops being accessible in those places.
Making your own femboy bot on SpicyChat
Given how mixed the tag is, writing him yourself is often the quickest route. What I'd do:
- Put his age in the Personality field, even if it seems obvious, and give him an adult setting: his apartment, his job, a bar, a convention. Leave out classrooms and school uniforms.
- Describe him as a man first, then his style. Words like "slim", "slender" or "lean" carry the look without tripping the scanner creators complain about. Avoid "small", "little" and anything that reads as young.
- State his pronouns in the definition and again in the greeting, and have the greeting describe what he's wearing.
- Keep the definition in SpicyChat's recommended 900 to 1,100 tokens. Wardrobe details and recurring habits can go into lorebook entries instead.
- Tag accurately: Femboy plus whatever else is true (two minimum, twelve maximum). Adding Female for reach is the kind of misleading tag that gets bots unpublished.
- Use an avatar of a clearly adult, clearly male character, shot from the front. It doubles as the reference picture for conversation images.
- Set visibility to private or unlisted if he's only for you.
What it costs (prices changed in September 2026)
SpicyChat raised its prices on September 8, 2026. Plenty of pages still quote the old numbers, so here are the current ones from SpicyChat's own FAQ and feature guide:
| Tier | Monthly | Annual | Context | What it adds |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | $0 | 4K | 180-token replies, ads, queue at busy times |
| Get A Taste | $5.95 (was $5.00) | $60.00 | 4K | No ads, Memory Manager, more personas |
| True Supporter | $19.95 (was $14.95) | $199.95 | 8K | 300-token replies, Semantic Memory 2.0, images on bots with the icon |
| I'm All In | $29.95 (was $24.95) | $299.95 | Up to 32K | Images on any bot, voices, priority, premium models |
Subscriptions started before the change keep renewing at the old price as long as they stay active and unchanged. Any plan change moves you to the new prices. SpicyChat's docs don't state a daily message cap for free accounts; one third-party site has reported an in-app notice of 2,000 replies a day, which is more than most people will use.
For femboy chat specifically, free is enough to judge the text. I'd only pay for True Supporter if you want images and can live with the gender drift above, and remember it only covers bots that show the images icon.
Is SpicyChat worth your time for femboy characters?
For text, yes, at least for an evening, and longer if you write your own bot. For images, long memory or a polished builder, no. The library's quality is uneven enough that SpicyChat ships a Low Quality tag.
What works
- A dedicated Femboy tag, plus Crossdressing, Trans and Non-Binary
- Include and exclude filters on tags
- NSFW text on the free tier (with age checks in some regions)
- Free creator tools with lorebooks, personas and private bots
- Clear written age rules
What doesn't
- Image model can turn a male character female, per SpicyChat's docs
- Images need $19.95 or $29.95 a month
- Short free context, so details fall out fast
- Creator tagging is inconsistent
- Femboy bots draw extra moderation and occasional removals
SpicyChat alternatives that keep a femboy character consistent
I judged these on four things a femboy character needs: control over his look, image consistency, memory, and what adult chat costs. One honest caveat first. None of these apps sells a femboy option, and our reviews didn't run a femboy-specific test on any of them. You set him up with a male persona, the builder's look controls and a written backstory, the same approach our guide to setting up a trans character takes. The numbers below come from each app's full review.
Joi AI
Joi gives you the most control over who he is. The male side documents full appearance customization, occupation, backstory and kinks, plus twelve personality sliders and six chat styles you can switch mid-conversation. In the Joi review, a character built on day one was still recognizably the same on day twelve, and faces held across 40+ generations. Recall was weaker at 14/20, and the pricing needs reading: Premium cuts replies at about 115 characters, so budget for Pro. Where to write his presentation in: appearance for the look, the backstory for his style and pronouns, the shy/bold slider for how he carries it. Try Joi AI.
Candy AI
Candy is the answer to SpicyChat's image problem: in our boyfriend testing a male face stayed his across 100+ generations, and the Candy review measured 18/20 recall over ten days. Body controls are lighter than Joi's or OurDream's, but the free-text description and two-paragraph backstory let you describe his presentation in your own words, and the 30+ character male gallery is a starting point if you'd rather adjust than build. Where to write his presentation in: the description field and the backstory. Try Candy AI.
OurDream AI
OurDream is the builder for a face that sits between masculine and feminine. Our boyfriend guide lists face shape, jaw, nose, lips, eye shape and color, eyebrows and freckles on the male side, plus 12 skin tones and 15+ style aesthetics. In the OurDream review, faces came out clean in 95% of 217 images and 27 of 34 video clips were usable. Chat is the weaker half at 38/50, and there is no mobile app. Where to write his presentation in: the face and body screens, the aesthetic picker for his clothes, the backstory screen for pronouns. Try OurDream AI.
Nectar AI
Nectar is the pick if the conversation matters more than the pictures: 43/50 coherence and 19/20 recall in the Nectar review. Its memory inspector lists every fact the model has stored about you, each row editable, which helps most if you play the femboy yourself and it logs you as "she". Whether you can correct stored details about the character is something to check in the app. Builder controls are barely documented and images were only okay. Where to write his presentation in: your opening messages, then the inspector to keep your own details straight. Try Nectar AI.
Lovescape
Lovescape has the widest range of looks (four body types, 14 style aesthetics, five voice tones), and its age presets are all bracketed 18+. Character lock held in 41 of 47 images in the Lovescape review. Persona controls are thin and the privacy policy is vague on retention, so keep real details out of the chat (the privacy section of our Lovescape gay content post has the specifics). Where to write his presentation in: body type and style aesthetic for the look, your opening messages for pronouns. Try Lovescape.
AI Gay
AI Gay is a browser-based 18+ chat where all 15 characters are adult men written for gay users. The nearest thing to a femboy is Noah, 23, listed as a soft boy (slim, cozy sweaters, poetic). There is no builder, so his look is fixed, and three messages are free before Premium. It has no review here, so no score. Where to write his presentation in: your first few messages, restated when the scene changes. Try AI Gay.
Trans AI
Trans AI suits a character who sits closer to trans or non-binary. The roster is trans women, aimed at people attracted to them, so a male-identified femboy means a custom request: you describe the character and the site's team builds it for your account. No review here, so no score. Where to write his presentation in: the request itself, with his age, pronouns, look and wardrobe spelled out. Try Trans AI.

SpicyChat femboy characters FAQ
Does SpicyChat have femboy characters?
Yes. SpicyChat has a dedicated Femboy tag, and related tags for Crossdressing, Trans and Non-Binary. Add Femboy from "Narrow by tag" and press "-" on tags you want excluded, such as Futanari or Low Quality. Enable NSFW in your profile first if you want explicit bots to show.
Are femboy bots allowed on SpicyChat?
Yes, as long as the character is portrayed as an adult over 18 and the visuals match that age. SpicyChat's guidelines say bots with youthful or childlike demeanors are evaluated individually even when listed as 18+, and they can be removed. Every femboy character should be, and read as, an adult man.
Can I chat with femboy bots on SpicyChat for free?
Yes. NSFW text chat works on a free account, though some regions (the UK, France, Italy, Australia and 26 US states) require age verification first. Conversation images need True Supporter at $19.95 a month, and then only on bots with the images icon, or I'm All In at $29.95 for any bot.
Why does SpicyChat draw my femboy character as a woman?
SpicyChat's own docs say its image model has a bias toward generating white women and can turn a man into a woman. Stating that the character is male in the definition, using a clear front-facing male avatar and describing his body helps, but it isn't a guarantee. For consistent images, Candy held a male face best in our testing.
How much does SpicyChat cost in 2026?
Since September 8, 2026: free, Get A Taste at $5.95 a month, True Supporter at $19.95 and I'm All In at $29.95. Annual plans are $60, $199.95 and $299.95. Subscriptions started before the change keep the old price while they stay active and unchanged.
How do I make a femboy bot that doesn't get flagged?
State his adult age in the Personality field, give him an adult setting, and avoid school framing and descriptors like "small" or "little". Tag him accurately, keep the definition around 900 to 1,100 tokens, set his pronouns in the greeting, and use an avatar that clearly shows an adult man.
What is the best femboy AI chat app besides SpicyChat?
I'd start with Joi AI, which lets you build his look and personality yourself with full appearance controls and 12 sliders. Pick Candy if consistent images matter most, OurDream for the most detailed face controls, and Nectar if you want to edit what the model remembers, which helps most when you play the femboy yourself.
